Pastor Mike Larsen was born and raised in Apple Valley, Ca. He is married to his amazing wife Sheila, is the grateful father of six and super proud grandfather of one of the most beautiful granddaughter in the world. Pastor Mike commissioned with the Reformed Church in America as a Pastor in 2009 and in March of 2014 accepted the call to help Lead the revitalization of Bethel Reformed Church in Bellflower California which was established in 1935. Today, Bethel is operating and thriving under it’s new name Encounter Christian Church. Pastor Mike has the honor and privilege of leading an amazing team of leaders at Encounter, who lead a community of believers that are committed to being a church that exists to transform our community by realizing God, developing authentic disciples of Jesus Christ and unleashing compassion by loving and serving our neighbors with the love of Christ. Pastor Mike is the current President of the Bellflower Ministerial Association, serves on the board of Kingdom Causes Bellflower, volunteers with the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department as Lakewood Station Clergy, and is a proud member of Kiwanas Bellflower.
Tim is married to his beautiful wife Jamie. He is a teaching Elder at Encounter Christian Church and the author of chapters 9 and 11 of Thanks for Asking. Here he is seen with Jamie at Dodgers stadium. Hence his comment in the book that said "in the perfect world the Dodgers would win the World Series every year!"
