This book began as a sermon series that I taught at our church in the summers of 2016 and 2018. We solicited our congregation for their questions about faith, life and culture. This message series would prove to be inspired.
We asked, and so many questions came in. Real, personal, heart-filled questions like;
Why do bad things happen?
What does the Bible say about homosexuality?
What does the Bible say about suicide?
Is suicide an unforgivable sin?
Why did God flood the earth?
Where is God during tragedies?
Why are there so many religions?
And so much more...
Over my years as a pastor, I’ve heard some tough questions asked about God and the Bible and these where no exception. The people in my church wanted to know the answers not only for themselves but also for the people they loved and cared for.
I wrote this book for those who have questions but are struggling to find answers. I believe you will find Thanks For Asking to be a practical resource that will help guide you and the people in your life who are asking tough questions about faith and life, to solid biblical answers. Even if you’re not a Christian I believe you will be amazed at how relevant and timely this sacred book—the Bible—is at answering these important questions.
